JOB EXPO Career Fair

 

Dear Sir or Madam:

On behalf of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, Inc., Cyprus Federation of America, Inc., Cultural Chapter of the Chian Federation, Hellenic Organization of University Graduates of America, Inc. (H.O.U.G.A.), Krikos, Inc., a cultural & scientific link with Hellenism, Hellenic Link of New Jersey, and Intercollegiate Hellenic Societies, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual Career Fair & Job Expo. The event will be held on Thursday, June 1st, 2000 at the Stathakion Center, located at 22-52 29th Street, Astoria, New York 11105, from 5:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

 

We would like to thank: ABC TV Network (Good Morning America), Aegean Real Estate, AT&T, ARC Technologies, Atlantic Bank, Astoria Federal Savings Bank, Board of Education, MetLife, Coopers & Lybrand, Creative Financial Staffing, Depository Trust Company, Iboom.com, New York State Governor's Office, Johnson & Johnson, New York State Police, N.Y.P.D., HELLAS Multimedia, ANTENNA, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Macy's, Manor Healthcare, NIKKEN, omogenia.com, Odyssey, Prudential Securities, Prudential Preferred Financial Services, PepsiCo, P.J. Mechanical, Queens County Bar Association, Social Science Research Council, Telecordia, and US Department of Commerce that participated last year and helped make the event a huge success.

Over five hundred qualified individuals from various educational backgrounds and experience attended last year's event and we expect a greater turnout this year. We also expect to have greater participation from companies, organizations, and governmental entities from all fields and sizes.

Representatives from each company will setup a booth, where they would share with those in attendance the various employment opportunities available. The suggested donation for each booth ranges from $100.00 to $400.00, depending on the size and the location of the booth. We encourage your representatives to bring any type of promotional material and exhibits such as signs, pamphlets, and free give-aways. If desired, space can also be provided for presentations and/or lectures. Your company has the opportunity to advertise its products and services in a journal that will be published for the Career Fair & Job Expo. The journal will be distributed for free to everyone that will attend the event.

Enclosed is a registration form that must be completed and returned to us by no later than Friday, May 19th, 2000. All companies participating will receive free advertising in the local electronic and print media, as well as a free listing in the journal.
